In Knoxville, washes are busiest on sunny weekends and the first dry day after rain or a snowstorm, when lines back onto the street; weekday mornings are the quietest. Across Tennessee, expect a basic exterior wash to cost about what a fast-food meal does, with wax, tire shine and undercarriage rinse sold as tiers above it. Self-service bays are the cheapest way to clean a truck bed, a muddy off-roader or a vehicle that will not fit a tunnel, and many run around the clock. Check the listing for the wash type, hours, free vacuums, unlimited plans and whether the site accepts cards or app payments, then call ahead in freezing weather, when tunnels close.

The business lists hours on 7 days of the week. Typical hours are Open 24 hours. As with most places, expect changes around holidays; the phone number below is the fastest way to confirm. You can reach Sutherland Car Wash at (865) 214-3459; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions.

After I was done spraying off my car mats in the wash bay, I put 2 dollars into the “change” machine and it dispensed a “car wash token.” At this point, I only needed to vacuum the floors. The vacuum cleaners did not work with the tokens given under the “change” section. Why would it only dispense car wash tokens when you have other things that cost money there? I reached out to the number on the sign, I called and texted and have recieved no response. The vending machine also does not work and took my $2. I didn’t have a ton of cash to get my car washed and had to go to a different location off of cedar bluff and will continue to go there. It’s unfortunate because this car wash is closest to me, but I’m not going to have my money taken from me.

If I was only able to give it negative stars, do not come here. The hose was broken and I got drenched because you can't tell until after you start the machine. No one on duty to complain or to get me into one of the other bays with a working hose. What a worthless car wash stay away from this place!

Manual AND self service automatic options. Clean and up to date establishment. Owner was on site and helpful. Can pay you with cash or card. Card was very easy, one swipe gets 10 minutes. Just press a button to get another 2 more minutes.

Automatic wash took like 20 presses to work and I had to wait around 10 mins for it to say enter. I drove in and around 2x and pressed all the washes. They charged $10 but I dont even know what wash I got. Watch for the yellow poles right next to the payment machine especially the one right in front of the entrance theres almost no space to enter.

The trigger is broken, there's ice all over the floors, and one of the places to insert money is busted, so there's no way of getting your money back for something that's not your fault or something you had no idea about. They should have an "out of order" sign up or better yet, shut down the whole place. I paid $5 worth and was not able to do any cleaning on my car or get my money back. Got a number that was on a door, so I'll see what happens; hopefully they can work with me. Didn't realize the trigger was broken since there's no sign. Oh, and NONE of the manual car wash areas are working! They're either closed down because of ice, busted, or missing equipment to wash. I would find someplace else to wash your car!
